How it works
Run in partnership with Vieira's Resort. Every entry needs a clear photo of your fish next to a scale showing the weight.
Monthly contests
Every month from August through December, the biggest salmon and biggest striper each win a free boat launch at Vieira's. New month, new leaderboard.
Grand champions
Biggest salmon of the season (Jul 16–Dec 31) and biggest striper of the season (Aug 1–Dec 31) each win a free overnight stay at Vieira's. Tracked live below, announced Jan 1.
- Photo must clearly show the fish and the scale reading — no scale, no entry.
- One phone number per household please; staff may follow up to verify a winning catch.
- Entries are reviewed by Vieira's staff before appearing on the public leaderboard — usually within a day.
- Legal-size, legally-caught fish only. Follow all CDFW regulations.
